Really sorry-again! Very poorly P.C.!

Hello all, and thank you to those who are sticking with me. Once again my pc has been playing silly devils, for the last week I've hardly been able to get onto the internet for more than a minute before it threw me out! Am working hard on getting it sorted, so thank you for bearing with me. With this in mind, I feel unable to commit to challenges at the moment, so am going to simply post all the cards I've made recently, with a bit of info. into life in general! Some of you may remember that I was trying to catch a fox cub with a poorly leg, however, didn't manage it, as unfortunately he seems to have disappeared, poor thing. Am also involved in trying to catch a bunch of semi-feral cats that live at my sons' place of work, the poor female keeps having litter after litter, and it's very hit and miss as to whether they survive or not! James and ? sorry, have now forgotten his mate's name, but they've taken 7 kittens between them in the last 12 months, so it's really time that something was done. It's taken them this long to get the "management" to agree! so - watch this space. I'll post some piccies of the kittens that James kept later. Other than that, Oscar has had chicken-pox, but is now back at nursery, and fine again. I've also been making some cards for North Devon Animal Hospital, the charity that I get involved with if I have a crisis! They are lovely, and will help any animal, no matter what. Don't know how they do it, especially with the economic situation at the moment, so have decided to do all I can. Every little helps! Have also started working with the horses, as Morgans' funny foot needs to be kept even, and for his brains sake, he needs to be kept occupied. Very difficult with this "lovely" summer that we're having, but, no excuses, get on with it. Sorry this is such a long post, but don't know when I'll get thrown out again, so making the most of it. Am now going to attempt to post some photos too! Wish me luck. I do hope no-one's having too bad a time of it with the floods etc, my homeground has had some pretty bad flooding, but seems to be okay at the moment. Back soon, I hope!! Big hugs to all. X

Very Strange......and Cards at Last!

Hello again
Well, anyone who visited yesterday will know that my font had changed,  and now today, it's changed back again! No idea what's going on, so am ignoring it. Okay, finally got around to sorting photos out, here are a couple of cards that have just been finished.
This one I made as a thank you for a neighbour who helped me load my hay. Used the balloon from Just for Joanna" - Travellers Joy stamp by Joanna Sheen. Lilli of the Valley stamp Grunge Corners used for, yes, the corners, or edges. The butterfly is from an Indigoblu stamp set, Nature 1, I think! and the sentiment from stash, sorry can't remember who it's by. Inked with TH Distress Ink, and matted onto chocolate card blank. Finished with twine and an old button.

This is one I made while playing. Had some Debbie Moore Print Magic, so... stamped image, which is Ella Bella from Indigoblu, onto card, and coloured with Distress Ink. Edged with flourishes and butterflies, then used Versamark and Print Magic. Gives a nice subtle glittery sheen. Finished with organza ribbon, and slider buckle, from Meiflower. Bit different for me, but I quite like it.

Okay, that's a couple of them. There's a few more yet, but will pop back later with those, and I'm trying to catch up with other blogs I need to visit, as people will think I've forgotten them! Please, can we have some more hours in the day! Keep smiling. X

So sorry!

Just a quick note to apologise for not posting! Loads of excuses so not going to bother. Will be back very soon with some new posts, and cards. Have actually been busy experimenting, but with grandchildren and half term, and animals, and the weather, well...there you go! However, on a good note, it's lovely here today, the sun is shining, the horses went out early, and I'm going to go and play! Keep smiling. x

Oops - can't count?

Hello again
Forgot to say, last post said three cards, the clever among you will have realised that I can't count! Was because at the last minute I decided that I wasn't happy with the third, so have had to make a few adjustments. Will be back later with a couple more cards, hope you've enjoyed the celebrations up to now. I've watched on tv, so sorry for all the poor people in the rain, the choir at the end made me cry, and proud to be British! Hoping to go and see our Beacon being lit later. Big hugs. x

Where does the time go!

Hello all
Hope you've all been enjoying the nice weather, we've got rain here now, such a shame for the Jubilee celebrations..but, nothing we can do about it. Right, although I haven't managed to blog during the week, I have been busy. I've three cards that I'm going to enter into challenges, so see what you think!
This one is probably for my grand-daughter, unless I get inspired by something else. Wanted to make a really girly card with this image - Positively Pampered by LOTV, really love this one. Firstly I die cut a white square card blank using Anya's Corner die by Marianne. Then backed the front with a strip of pink card. Used three different backing papers, and layered them, then added some fine glitter to show through the corners. Cut a Tim Holtz Distressed Doilly, inked it lightly, and added that. Stamped the image and coloured with Promarkers, added various different types of bling, and then cut it out with a Nestie Scalloped Oval. Added some fluffy stuff around the edge, and glittered the edge of the oval, and mounted onto Doilly. Stamped two sentiments, matted onto matching shape, and added. Finished with organza ribbon from Joanna Sheen and Handy Hippo, fastened with large brad,  flowers from Wild Orchid, pearly butterflies from stash, and a few gems.
Am entering this one into:
Truly Scrumptious - Pretty in Pink
Lillies Little Fairies - Anything Goes
Wild Orchid - Bingo!
Crafters Comp. - Time to Embellish
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Love to Create - Add a Sentiment

Now, this was quite weird! Had finished this card, and was on the way to the kitchen to photo, as the light is better, and as I walked into the living room, this fox cub was sitting on the bank outside, looking at me! Well, I thought it was a bit of a coincidence anyway! So, this card has a digi-image from TiddlyInks, who I've only just discovered! This one is called Wryn and Mo- Love You Most. Coloured with Promarkers, wanted to keep to shades of two tones, cut into a square, and then edged it with Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powder.Made a Centura Pearl pale blue card blank, and then matted paper from Papermania onto it, then a rectangle of dotty paper from Forever Friends-New Arrival. Edged the mats again with CSEP, and inked with TH Distress Inks. Cut the flower ribbon slider which is from JoyCrafts, inked lightly and attached with ribbon behind it. Added die cut swirls from Sizzix. Finished with flowers from WOC, and crocheted flower with gem in centre. Attached sentiment with plaited cord to look as if hanging, then some glitter and gems.
Am entering this one into:
I Love Promarkers - Use a Digi
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Crafters Comp. - Embellishments
Love to Create - Add a Sentiment
Righty-ho, back to work, have a couple more I'm playing with, enjoy your bank holiday weekend guys. Back soon. x
