Back again-quickly!

Just like buses, nothing for days, then two posts one after the other! Just decided to put this card into three challenges, just because! Used a Cuddly Buddly stamp - Toby Tumble-Is this for Me? and coloured it with Promarkers. Die cut it with a Nestie, and die-cut two further layers, one pearlescent pink, and one pink gingham-yee-hah! The bow border is a Sizzix die-cut, and the sentiment (from LOTV) is stamped onto another small die-cut. The rosette is also made from a Sizzix die-cut. Assembled all the layers, added a bit of bling and a small ribbon bow, and a pretty little butterfly, and finished with a white heart border, I think it's a flexi-border from Pinflair. Do like them because they mold very well around corners etc: And there we are, all finished. Thanks for looking, back soon. x

Sorry I've been Missing!

Hello all
I'm so sorry I haven't been on for a while, loads of excuses I'm afraid. ~The minute the sun comes out the horses become very time consuming, then I've had the two grandsons to stay, and so on......however, have now sort of got organised, and promise to try to come on at least every other day! A couple of cards I've made, one was for a challenge, but changed my mind,  not sure about the other, just like playing.

This one is a Stitchybear digi-image called Butterfly Bliss. Not got it quite right, but it's the first big image I've done, so I'm relatively pleased with it. Used Promarkers, no change there. Added glitter to the butterflies, and the flower, and her ear-rings, and the butterfly panel. That was die cut from a Darice border embossing folder, they're really nice, and then sanded a bit. Shaped the edges of the card, and added some bling, and a strip of lace from stash.

And this card ......not sure how I ended up with this, but played for a while, and quite like it. I'd coloured the pansy frame in a while ago, and wasn't sure what to do with it, and then the sentiment fitted nicely, and being floral matched well enough. The backing paper is absolutely gorgeous, doesn't show up well on this photo, but it's off the If Flowers Could Talk CD from Joanna Sheen. The flowers are made from the Spellbinder Aster flower die, cut from a piece of paper that I'd kept when spraying! and matched very well. Added the other bits, and as they say, Bobs' your uncle! Promise to be back very soon with a few more. Hope everyone is okay, and enjoying this glorious weather! x

Working at last! and New Challenge Cards

Hi everyone
Well, hopefully pc all sorted now and internet will stay up and running! Okay, going to try and post a couple of cards, that I'm going to enter into challenges, on the last minute, but hey ho, I'm getting there.
Right, this card started with a cute digi-stamp from Di's Digi Downloads-"Fairy Daisy". Stamped onto white card, and coloured with Promarkers, with a bit of help from coloursoft. Cut out with Nestie, also next size in rainbow shimmer card, and then card blank in off-white card from Mandarin. Backing papers from Wild Rose Studio, matted onto card, then rainbow shimmer, then stripy paper and lace from stash. Centred the image, added foil to wings and daisy. Stamped and cut out tag (LOTV) mounted onto rainbow shimmer, and attached with tiny bow. Finished with flowers from WOC, tiny stars and a little glamour dust.

This card has one of my favourite LOTV images on, "It's My Party!" Stamped and coloured with Promarkers, then cut out with scalloped nestie, then matted onto a plain oval. Cut out another shape in rainbow shimmer for mat, also two small ones to use later. Made pink pearlescent card from Centura Pearl, and then had a play about. Made a lattice effect background with woven paper strips, coloured with Distress Ink. Covered card with patterned paper from stash, with lattice on top, and lace strip (Border Carnivale die by Cheery Lyn)  Matted the image onto shaped mat, and attached to card. Made the rosette with a sizzix die, and coloured. Stamped sentiment (LOTV) and matted both onto shaped backgrounds. Finished with pink organza ribbon, tied in a bow, and attached a fairy charm with a pink hatpin. Finished with gems and pearls.

Hello - I'm Back....for now!

Hi everyone
Just a quick note to say really sorry I haven't been on for a while. Firstly I had a bad couple of days, which happens now and then, but mainly the pc has really been playing up, and I've had no Internet! So apent the time making more cards! which I''ll get on here as soon as, but..grr, missed a couple of challenges that I'd almost finished cards for when the contraption starting seizing up - very cross, but, nothing I could do. So, hoipefully sometime on Monday all will be fixed, and at least it's worked long enough this time for me to get on and apologise. Hope you've all had the day that we've had today, glorious, hot, and I mean very warm, sunshine. Had Oscar today, and spent all day out in the field! So, back soon hopefully. Keep smiling. xx

Just finished!

Hello again
Well, if nothing else the weather is making time for crafting. Almost the last of my latest batch of "nearly finished" cards! Thought I may enter this  into a couple of challenges.  Cut a shaped card blank, then in the same shape a floral mat (Henbury Lane paper), a shimmer card mat, and a plain one to stamp onto. Stamped the image (Country Companions-Lovers Lane) and coloured with Promarkers.Wrapped organza ribbon around card, then matted the layers on top. Added silver corners, and a die-cut flourish, embellished with silver sparkle. Stamped sentiments, embossed with silver, tag die from Marianne, and attached. Tried not to overdo the bling!

Entered into Stampin for the Weekend - Sparkle and Shine challenge.
And Totally Gorjuss - Congratulations challenge.
